Review and learn the many variations of sentence structures to increase creativity, hone editing skills, and improve personal writing styles. Focused Sentences, the basic units of thought, the stylistic components of all stories, poetry and communications, are what separates average writers from great writers, and understanding sentence syntax is easier than it sounds.  We'll evaluate sentences by well-know authors from the twentieth and twenty-first century.  It's not all syntax and analysis, but rather learning by example and emulation. Knowing sentence syntax gives you a new set of guidelines allowing you to make stylistic decisions with confidence. The most important thing I've learned personally in researching this subject, is that I couldn't wait to start writing again. I'm certain all who take this course will gain a renewed energy and look forward writing, revising and editing.
