"One Hundred Years of Solitude", by Gabriel García Márquez, relays the story of the origin and demise of the mythical town of Macondo in a sometimes funny, sometimes sad, always intriguing tale. Students have the choice of writing a review, an analysis of a specific element of fiction or a biography of the author and will participate in topic discussions on a classroom message board in this eight-week facilitated seminar, L139 One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel García Márquez.
