WRITERS' VILLAGE IS PROUD TO INTRODUCE
YOU TO:

Carol Wicks
USA
Carol Wicks lives on the humid South Texas Gulf Coast about thirty-five
miles from Corpus Christi although she's originally from Maine. She has a
small free range chicken farm with assorted other critters such as geese,
ducks, guineas, turkeys, goats, and rabbits, including German Shepherd Morgen
and little dog Jack, and three cats Vannah, Booger and Phoebe.
She worked for many years in animal welfare as a director of humane societies
and animal control facilities including pet facilitated therapy, humane
education, and animal cruelty investigation. She also worked as a hospital
manager and technician in both large and small animal veterinary practices.
Her writing credits include stories in pet, business and inspirational ezines,
non-fiction articles in monthly and daily newspapers, non-profit newsletters,
successful grant proposals, scripts for humane society commercials, PSA's and
Cable TV shows, humane education materials from pre-K to college level,
position papers, and technical manuals.
Two of her greatest passions in life are animals and books and now plans to
find a way to combine them.
